If there's one thing that is going to destroy this planet, it's hands down #PeakCapitalism (while this sentence says a lot about my political orientation, hear me out!). While we're all told to respect the grind, because we're all trying to make our little piece of the pie so we can be comfortable, that remaining shred of the capitalist dream is falling further out of our reach. While the rise of a new oligarchic corporate class has done a lot to make our lives easier, there are some straight up scumbags who may deserve a piece of something else.

In our modern era, people have been cancelled for a laundry list of justifiable reasons. How hard is it to not be racist, sexist, a misogynist, trans/homophobic etc.? In many of these instances of being canceled, some folks have lost their livelihood, while others, like Teflon, remain unstained. However, in a world where you could lose your life for being a scumbag....that becomes very interesting in evaluating the dire consequences for your actions....
While I find the premise of this book extremely exciting, what makes me laugh a lot is the target we see pursued from start to finish "Michael Sheranko." Hmmm...I wonder whom such a price gouging douchebag who bought a Wu-Tang album and refused to share it was inspired by?
If you are a fan of recent books like Space Bastards or Scumbag or classics like Transmetropolitan, you'll enjoy the witty and gritty look into our future where getting canceled in prime time takes on a WHOLE new meaning.

When things take an absolutely wild turn at the end, I can tell you this is going to be one of the books I'm excited for every step of the way! You should definitely add this puppy to your pull list!!!!!
