As I continue to sift through my massive mixture of FCBW claims and purchases from Source Point I have yet to find a book I dislike.  The sheer breadth of types of stories distributed through this publisher are amazing.  Today's selections may embrace the darker side of their storytelling, but they are great in their own ways!

Rottentail
By: David C. Hayes, Kevin Moyers, Kurt Belcher, Henrik Horvath

I love campy horror films!  Seriously, have you seen Ticks?  What about ThanksKilling? They are one of my guilty pleasures, but they are hard to watch at home because my wife doesn't like them anymore, and you never know which small child will mosey into my room at any given hour of the day. That being said, Rottentail is the perfect sort of book to scratch my campy itch.

Here is the plot in two sentences.  Dude is bullied in high school, grows up becomes a scientist doing fertility experiments on rabbits.  He gets bit by one and exacts his vengeance.

I loved it, this was the exact right amount of insanity I needed today.  It made me laugh, it made me gasp, it kept me guessing, and the ending?  Rottentail 2?

I am now regretting I didn't buy the bundle of book and film, because I'm guessing the film takes the absurdity and dials it to eleven!
Fear the Bunny Here!

Norah #1
By: Kasey Pierce, Sean Seal, Jason Westlake

The book opens with a very intriguing scene of a woman in the near dark, drying to coax a child to come with her, and the child is having a very clear case of stranger danger (good parenting).  However, we learn that the child is actually in some sort of coma, and she is sitting next to the girl's parents in the hospital, and is asking questions to get information to seem non-threatening so the girl will trust her and leave, presumably bringing her out of the state of biological comatose.  How did this women get the powers? We find that out in the last 2 pages...sort of.  We learn what might have started her on the course, but will get to more in #2. Quick read, intriguing story, great art, pick it up!
Climb into Norah's Head Here

Savants #1-2
By: Gary Reed, Seth Damoose, Sara Sowles

There are children with special abilities all over the world.  These children are being gathered and purchased by some organization and placing them in a school where they can use their abilities.  Potentially experiment on them, and maybe even organize against a potential threat?  These two books do a great job establishing the characters from their original homes, and now in the school.  It does a great job establishing two potential factions who may be interested in specific children.  I'm ready for more!  These are great introductory titles into a new world, and done in a better way than several #1-2 books of new storylines.  I'm ready to see what happens next!!
