Savage Dragon #248 (Image)
I do think those are two actual man-sized pieces of poop fighting....Which is amazing, but odd AF.
Audition Status: TBD, it was weird...Maybe I'll pick up the next one and see if I'm too weirded out or lost, but a literal shit-fight is great!
Justice League #44 (DC)
By: Robert Venditti, Xermanico, Romulo Fajardo Jr., Tom Napolitano
Audition Status: Chris Jericho says it all. But instead of a list of people he's gonna....ok you get it.
I'm intrigued enough by the start of this arc to maybe go back a few issues to see what went down leading up to this. I'd love some of my long-time JL readers let me know why you dropped it.
Red Hood Outlaw #45 (DC)
By: Scott Lobdell, Paolo Pantalena, Arif Prianto, Troy Peteri
I'm not 100% sure what's going on aside from a big fight against some aliens (the Untitled) who are hiding out in the city of Abul, and they are about to get their ass mostly whooped...until they start possessing people. It looked like Booster Gold was disemboweled for a moment. Then he was mind controlled? It was weird but cool!
What made me the most interested in taking this title from a no to a shrug was the appearance of the creepy-AF M.C. Escher-esque staircase which shows up that may be a tool of alien travel? It feels like this would be a book I'd really like, but this was a little overwhelming, so I think I'll throw a poll up for my DC readers to help me out a bit
