Oh man, this small stack were all wild, and some of it is still processing, but in a good way =-)

Undiscovered Country #5 (Image)
By: Scott Snyder, Charles Soule, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Leonardo Marcello Grassi, Matt Wilson

This one had a lot to process, you had a man being freed from prison, a fighting brother and sister, and Destiny Man's game of chess may slowly be getting revealed.  As our heroine continues on the quest for the next gate, she has to figure out if she can trust her brother, if her father is still alive, and what happens if anyone gets left behind once the door is open.  Also, DESTINY MAN HAS A WALL FULL OF ACCESSORY HORNS? DOPE!

What should you do? Read it, and be jealous that you don't have a closet full of animal horns, and if you do...wear them, it will help you practice your social distancing!

Excalibur #9 (Marvel)
By: Tini Howard, Marcus To, Erick Arciniega

Well, we finally get to see why Apocalypse needed all of those warwolf skulls, to bring unfettered passage between Krakoa and Otherworld, and we get a glympse of the Starlight Citadel.  SOMEBODY SHOOTS A FUCKING BABY (even if he is a dragon) and the war is ON between the White Priestesses and the Excalibur team.  Also, Coven Akkaba is regrouping for the next phase of some wild shit. Speaking of wild shit, the last panel on the next to last page?  All I can say is JUBILEEEEEEEEE!

What should you do? This book quickly escalated from a book I was unsure about (because I didn't know much about Captain Britain) to one of the new X-titles I have been a HUGE fan of, and this next arc is going to be WILD!  Also, this may have implications on the straight-up X title if Apocalypse can "make Krakoa whole." Damn!

X-Force #9 (Marvel)
By: Benjamin Percy, Joshua Cassara, Dean White

The most interesting part of this book to me is post-resurrection Domino.  She has some memory of what happened to her, but none of the details.  Some times, we have heard that folks may not have full memories if Xavier has not "backed them up" but I don't think anyone else has shown you can embrace selective memories!  Also, the team after a rousing romp in a bar (one does not need social distancing on Krakoa...yet) they get sent to Terra Verde which is rivaling Lemire's "Family Tree" for this year's award of "Creepiest Plant Infestation."

What should you do? This book has consistently delivered, and 9 is going to set up one hell of a battle in book 10!
