We're reaching the bottom of the stack from this week's New Comic Book Day, and I'm not 100% sure how I'm changing the rankings because everything has been pretty good!

Bleed Them Dry #3 (Vault)
By: Eliot Rahal, Hiroshi Koizumi, Dike Ruan, Miquel Muerto, Andworld

Look, this book used to have only two things I thought were pretty dope: Vampires and Samurai.  This book adds an additional layer of cybernetics (I'm sorry....I'm a sucker for cyberpunk stuff).  These things only add to the insanity.

The hunt for Detective Halloway continues, as she stays hidden from the public. Detective Black is tasked to protect Mr. Hoss one of the most powerful and wealthy men in the world and Black clearly enjoys psychologically torturing his subject. And then...shit hits the fan with an intense action sequence that the artist and colorist bring to life with heart-pounding intensity.

Don't sleep on this vampire book ya'll, it's pretty damn good!

GI Joe #8 (IDW)
By: Paul Allor, Emma Vieceli, Brittany Peer, Neil Uyetake

God, I'm loving this elseworlds GI Joe tale.  We learn of another attempt to infiltrate Cobra's chokehold on the world.  Bombstrike is using her position as a Canadian diplomat to meet with Dr. Venom and attempt to steal the technical details for the next generation of B.A.T.S.

The story is an impressive play of diplomacy and betrayal as Bombstrike attemps to get a Cobra scientist she knows from a past life to defect (or leave to go live in the country).  Getting to see the strategic work at play from both Dr. Venom and Bombstrike is an interesting game of chess, and you need to check out this issue to see who wins!

Thor #7 (Marvel)
By: Donny Cates, Aaron Kuder, Matt Wilson

How can you follow up the massive events from book 6?  Is it going to be full of high octane-action?  Is it going to reveal new events while creating a new arc to tie-in? Is there a certain mechanic who is about to have a very bad day?  The answer to all of these questions is yes.

You definitely need to call the phone number which reveals itself in this issue...if you are worthy!
