While the premise of the story is interesting to me, what really draws me in is the art. While I've read a small handful of black and white graphic novels and comics, at times, the black lining is heavy handed, and you can't see the simple nuance of the varying shades a pencil can provide. As I scroll through each page, and look at each panel you I feel a deeper intimacy with the art, which is good since it is a story of love and war!
I'm highly intrigued to see if I get a full preview closer to the publication date, but I'm excited to throw this on a pre-order list for its September 1st release date!
