Flash Forward #1-6 (DC)
By: Scott Lobdell, Brett Booth, Norm Rapmund, Luis Guerrero

I don't know what made me put this on my pull when the first book dropped.  I've never really been a huge fan of the Flash, but something about this piqued my interest.  Seeing it was only a 6-issue mini, I figured I'd be ok with a binge read when #6 came out, which was this week.

The first challenge I had with this book, is the lack of familiarity with what went down in "Heroes in Crisis" but apparently Wally did something that lead to the death of innocent heroes, and he hated himself for it, and allowed himself to be thrown in prison.  However, Tempus Fuginaut has other plans for Wally, as he is the only one who may be able to save the multiverse.  What is wild about this series is the unique worlds the Flash interacts with in his attempt to cleanse the darkness from throughout the multiverse.  In book 2, we see him with President Superman and the JLA, and a brief interlude from the Retaliators.  Book 3 brings us the Justice League of Vampires (which is terrifyingly badass).

Book 4 is where things take a turn, and we see the true desire for the relationship Wally wants to have with his children, and the fear of losing them overwhelms him in all senses of the term.  In battling the League of Shadows we discover a world where Lightspeed thinks she rules everything, yet she discovers that Wally can teach her how to embrace the depth of her powers.  Book 5 hits me in my feels, because you see Wally crying at holding his babies, and feeling responsible for their entrapment on the dark planet.  HOLY SHIT BOOK 6 IS CRAZY AND I MAY BE CONVERTED INTO A FLAHS FAN TO PICK UP #750

What should you do?  I hope if there is a TPB of this, we get to see some notes or other creative elements in the back, because I'd like to peer into their heads!
