Again, each time I get a sniff, a taste, a tease, or a hint of anything going on in the world of Something is Killing the Children, you know I'm definitely reading it, and there's a 98.6% chance I'm writing about it. Clearly, in getting Boom's preview email for this weeks, releases it was the first thing I downloaded, read, and got even more excited to hold the physical copy in my hands!
Something is Killing the Children #20 (Boom! Studios)
After witnessing a murder for eating plot at the end of issue #1 Joey was shook. She knew she witnessed a murder, but did not understand the full magnitude of it all. Regardless, she wanted to leave. However, after attempting to rouse her boyfriend so they could leave, she yet again failed (I've had similar phantom conversations with my wife when I've taken my insomnia medication).
Needing to find irrefutable evidence that a murder happened the night before, she began snooping around the house, where she finds a friendly ear who gives her more information than she may need......
I absolutely think the full creative team is crushing it yet again, and I can't wait to get as many of the covers for Issue 2 as I can! I also hope this book goes to a second printing did just like issue 1 (because that cover was HOT!!!)
Check out the preview pages below and get ready for the second course! You should definitely try to pick it up from your LCS or order it from my buddies over at AMKM Comics!

Words cannot explain my feelings for one of the greatest film franchises in history. All three films of the epic Robocop trilogy are cinematic perfection. I still cant believe that the aggregation on Rotten Tomatoes have Robocop 2 at 30% and Robocop 3 at 6%....but what can you do when people don't appreciate the true art of cinema.
The moment I read the premise of Mullet Cop months ago, I knew I would absolutely love it! I could finally find a way to write or talk about my love of: Robocop, Stay Tuned and Smash TV. Mullet cop feels like all three of these loves of mine combined!
Mullet Cop #1 (Scout Comics)
By: Tom Lintern
The year is 2099, seventy years past the robo-mutant war ravaged the planet, but there are two items that sing the true progress of humanity: Microwaves and the Mall.
Malls are not just the center of commerce, but in this particular mall, it is a center of entertainment as well (live gameshows anyone???)! The malls are also wrought with gang activity, where several sectors are controlled by different gangs.
On one fateful night, the Pink Dolls ambush a squadron of officers patrolling the mall and several officers are murdered.
What transpires through all 66 pages of this epic initial offering is an attempt of Fred, the Buffet Warrior, to monitor and potentially take down the Pink Dolls for the murder of himself and several of his friends.
