I'm pretty sure ya'll know I'm in the front of the line of the Something Is Killing the Children and House of Slaughter hype squads. Not only do I have multiples of almost every issue, variants, signed books and slabs but I also have one of the limited Tynion Slaughter Face Mask/Kerchief AND an ORIGINAL Dell'Edera drawing on my wall.
I. Love. This. Book.
I've been sitting on my review of SIKTC 21 until Wednesday morning because I didn't know how to talk about it without spoiling it....but here it goes!
Something is Killing the Children #21
By: James Tynion IV, Werther Dell'Edera, Miquel Muerto
I'll admit it, issue 21 falls back into the same formula as issue 1. We see a kid covered in blood, and we are slowly figuring out why she's so bloody....but all she wants...is to talk to a lawyer. As the officer is trying to protect her from headed into the justice system, she's dropped off at a bar owned by a family friend, where we get the GORY details of everything and HOLY SHIT, THIS MONSTER SEEMS SCARIER THAN THE ONE IN ARCHER'S PEAK YA'LL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved it! With hope, we not only find out what's going to be the future of the aptly named Tribulation, New Mexico in addition to any of the ongoing drama within the house of slaughter! Again, like Nottingham...if you are refusing to read this one...we can't be friends!
